tasyāṃ sūtaṃ kṣipecchuddhaṃ palaviṃśatimānataḥ /
jīrṇagandhakasūtaṃ ca bhāvayellaśunadravaiḥ //
Into it one should cast purified mercury to the measure of twenty palas. / And one should impregnate the mercury with garlic juice when its sulphur has been digested.
