Rubbed, resembling saffron in colour, red-coloured on heating, slightly white and not brownish when cut, flake-free, and of great weight, / unctuous, devoid of copper, rich in a dense red lustre, and of peerless, brilliant, beautiful colour: such gold is said to be the best.
