Copper is bitter, astringent, sweet in digestion, hot in potency, and slightly sour; it removes pitta and kapha, and puts an end to abdominal disease, dermatosis, metabolic toxins, and fever. / It purges upwards and downwards, stimulates virility, dispels obesity, stimulates appetite, pacifies piles, phthisis, and anaemia; it is beneficial for the eyes and pre-eminently scraping.
