dvitīye ca tṛtīye ca vṛddhiḥ karṣādhikā kramāt /
evaṃ ṣoḍaśamāsāntaṃ satakraṃ kuḍubaṃ pibet //

In the second and third [months], there should be an increase by one karṣa respectively; / in this way, until the end of sixteen months, he should drink one kuḍava mixed with buttermilk.
