dakṣiṇasyāṃ yajedrudramāsure ca samīraṇam /
paścimasyāṃ śivaṃ vahniṃ vāyavyām uttare hyumām //

in the south one should worship Rudra; in the south-west, Wind;
in the west, Śiva; Fire in the north-west; and in the north, Umā;
