prāṇānāyamya vidhivat prāṇaśaktiṃ smarecchive /
śoṇitāmbhodhimadhyastharaktāmbhojāsanāṃ parām //

Having restrained the breath according to rule, O Śivā, one should meditate upon the supreme Prāṇaśakti,
who is seated on a red lotus located in the midst of the ocean of blood;
