<bhūtaśuddhiḥ>
bhūtaśuddhiṃ pravakṣyāmi pṛthvī pītā savajrakā /
kaṭhinā laṃbījayutā jānvantāṅguṣṭhamūlataḥ //

<Purification of the Elements>
I shall declare the purification of the elements: the earth [mandala] is yellow, with a vajra,
hard, accompanied by the seed-syllable 'laṃ', from the base of the big toes up to the knees.
