<rasabhasmalakṣaṇam>
akṣayitvaṃ nirutthatvaṃ nirlepatvaṃ subhasmatā /
mārakatvaṃ ca lohānāṃ lakṣayed rasabhasmataḥ //

<Characteristics of mercury ash>
Imperishability, absence of recovery into metallic form, non-smearing, true ash quality,
and the power to incinerate metals should be observed from mercury ash.
