śukreṇārādhito devi prāgahaṃ suravandite /
dānavānāṃ hitārthāya mṛtānāṃ devasaṅgare //

I was formerly worshipped by Śukra, O Devī, O you praised by gods,
for the benefit of the Dānavas who were killed in the battle with the gods.
