vidhāya koṭaraṃ tatra kṣiptvā tenaiva ḍolayet /
triphalāvyoṣakalkena veṣṭayitvā prayatnataḥ //

having made a hollow there and placed [it] inside, one should swing it in a swing-device by means of that very [substance], / having carefully wrapped it with a paste of triphalā and the three pungent spices.
