<aṣṭamaḥ prakāraḥ>
kākoduṃbarikākṣīrair bhāvayet somarāmaṭham /
punaḥ punaḥ saptadhaivaṃ śoṣayenmardayet sudhīḥ //

<Eighth method> / The wise one should macerate asafoetida with the milky latex of kākodumbarikā; / repeatedly in this way seven times, one should dry and grind it.
