sthālyāṃ sūtādikānkṣiptvā hemarūpyādi khorikām /
nyubjāṃ sandhiṃ mṛdā liptvā vālukāṃ khorikāntagām //

Having cast quicksilver and the rest into a pot, [and placed] an earthen saucer containing gold, silver, and the like,
inverted, having smeared the joint with clay, having brought sand up to the edge of the earthen saucer,
