tasyāṃ ca vinyasetkhorīṃ lauhīṃ vā kāntalohajām /
tasyāṃ sūtaṃ kṣipecchuddhaṃ palaviṃśatimānataḥ //
one should place upon it a small bowl of iron or made of magnetic iron; / in it one should pour pure quicksilver to the measure of twenty palas.
