<pañcakarmāṇi; 1. pācanam>
lavaṇādisamutkliṣṭān doṣān saṃśodhayet kramāt /
tato jīrṇarasaṃ cādyāt kramād evaṃ sureśvari //

<The five therapies; 1. Digestive cooking>
One should gradually purify the humors aggravated by salt and the like;
then one should ingest digested mercury gradually, like this, O mistress of the gods.
