valīpalitarogaghnāḥ kṣatriyā mṛtyuhāriṇaḥ //

and as their luster is, so is their nature: the brāhmaṇa [diamonds] act in this way. / The kṣatriya diamonds destroy wrinkles, grey hair, and diseases, and ward off death.
