piṣṭvā snuhyarkayoḥ kṣīrais tadgole mṛdu hīrakam /
nikṣipettacca jambīre dolāyantre tryahaṃ pacet //

having ground these with the milky saps of snuhī and arka, into a ball of that [paste] / one should insert the softened diamond, and cook it in lemon juice in a swing apparatus for three days.
