catuḥpalopayogena viṣavyāghrāhibhīrna hi /
tathā pañcapalenaiva divyātmajñānitā bhavet //

by the use of four palas, there is no fear of poison, tigers, or serpents;
and by five palas indeed, divine self-knowledge arises;
