<hiṅgulasya guṇāḥ>
ye guṇāḥ pārade proktāste guṇāḥ santi hiṅgule /
navajvaraharaḥ proktaḥ sampātajvaranāśanaḥ //

<Properties of cinnabar> / Whatever qualities are proclaimed in mercury, those qualities exist in cinnabar. / It is declared to relieve newly arisen fever and to destroy virulent typhoid-like fever.
