vātapittaharaḥ sphoṭakaṇḍūtivraṇanāśanaḥ /
<guggulu>
dānavendravijitānpurā surān bhraṣṭakāntidhṛtidhairyatejasaḥ /
vīkṣya viṣṇuramṛtaṃ kilāsṛjat gugguluṃ balavapurjayapradam //

It removes the vāta and pitta humors, and destroys blisters, itching, and wounds. / <Guggulu> / In ancient times, seeing the gods vanquished by the king of the demons, deprived of their radiance, composure, courage, and splendor, / Viṣṇu created guggulu, indeed a nectar that gives strength, bodily beauty, and victory.
