gandhakasyāgnitaḥ sattvaṃ svarṇābhaṃ sarvakāryakṛt /
na cāsya sattvam ādadyāt sattvarūpo hi gandhakaḥ //

By means of fire, the gold-like essence of sulphur that accomplishes all tasks [is obtained]. / But one should not extract its essence, for sulphur is itself essence in nature:
