<lohabhasmavidhiḥ (2)>
ciñcāpatranibhaṃ kuryātkāntaṃ tīkṣṇaṃ ca muṇḍakam /
mṛtpātrasthaṃ kṣiped gharme dantīdrāvaiḥ prapūrayet //

<Method 2 for iron calx> / One should make loadstone, cast iron, and wrought iron [thin] like tamarind leaves, / place them in an earthen vessel in the sun, and fill it with juices of dantī.
