kāṃsyāraghoṣapatrāṇi tena kalkena lepayet /
ruddhvā puṭedgajapuṭe śuddhimāyāti nānyathā //
One should smear leaves of bell-metal, brass, and bronze with that paste; / having enclosed them, one should calcinate in an elephant-pit: they attain purification, not otherwise.
