śūnyapāpo mantrayājī na piṇḍaṃ dhārayet kvacit
devānāmapi deveśi durlabhaṃ piṇḍadhāraṇam //
Even a sacrificer with mantras who is devoid of sin can never retain the body; / retention of the body is difficult to attain, O ruler of gods, even for the gods.
