taṃ tu hemamayaṃ kṛtvā tailamākṣikamiśritam
prativāpe niṣiñcet tat hema tāmrasamaṃ bhavet //
Having made that [pot] of gold, [and] mixed the oil with pyrite,
one should pour it in as an addition; that gold becomes equal to copper.
