ajākṣīreṇa piṣṭvā tu śulvapattrāṇi lepayet
tat puṭena ca deveśi sindūrāruṇasaṃnibham
śatāṃśenaiva deveśi sarvalohāni vedhayet //

Having ground them with goat's milk, one should coat copper leaves. / By calcination fire, O Goddess of the gods, it becomes like dawn-colored vermilion; / with a hundredth part, O Goddess of the gods, it transmutes all metals.
