tasya mantraṃ pravakṣyāmi triṣu lokeṣu durlabham //

oṃ caṇḍāya pinākine śūlahastāya oṃ diśāṃ bandhaya vidiśāṃ bandhaya ṭhaṭhaḥ |

"Oṃ, to Caṇḍa, wielder of the Pināka, holder of the trident! Oṃ, bind the cardinal directions, bind the intermediate directions! Ṭha ṭhaḥ!"
