tanmukhe kṣaṇikaṃ jātaṃ kroḍadeśe tu vāsaram
bāhubhyāṃ tryahavedhi syāt māsavedhi tu pārśvayoḥ
ṣaṇmāsamaparāṅge ca sarvaṃ samaphalaṃ bhavet //

That which arose on his snout acts instantaneously; on his chest, in a day; / from his two arms it transmutes in three days; on his flanks, it transmutes in a month; / and on the lower body, in six months: all have an equal result.
