sāmudralakṣaṇopeto gambhīro guruvatsalaḥ
devāgniyoginīcakrakulapūjārataḥ sadā
śiṣyo vinītastantrajñaḥ satyavādī dṛḍhavrataḥ //

endowed with the bodily marks from physiognomy, profound, affectionate toward the guru, / constantly devoted to the worship of gods, fire, the circle of yoginīs, and the Kula— / such a disciple is humble, knowledgeable in the tantras, truthful in speech, and firm of vow.
