sthālikāyāṃ nidhāyordhvaṃ sthālīm anyāṃ dṛḍhāṃ kuru
saṃdhiṃ vilepayedyatnāt mṛdā vastreṇa caiva hi //

Having placed [the crucible] in an earthen pot, place another sturdy earthen pot above it.
One should carefully seal the joint with clay and cloth.
