śrīdevyuvāca
niyāmanādikaṃ karma krāmaṇāntaṃ sureśvara
yayā sampadyate hy eṣām oṣadhīṃ vaktumarhasi //
The auspicious Devī said: / The operations beginning with restraint and ending with penetration, O lord of the gods, / by which [plants] these are accomplished, those plants you ought to declare.
