trapu ca dvividhaṃ jñeyaṃ śvetakṛṣṇavibhedataḥ
śvetaṃ laghu mṛdu snigdham uttamaṃ vaṅgamucyate //

Tin (trapu) is to be known as twofold, through the division of white and black;
white, light, soft, and glossy is said to be the best tin.
