naktamāleṅgudīśakravāruṇīmūlasaṃyutaiḥ
piṣṭairmāhiṣatakre tu saptarātroṣitaistataḥ
niṣekaḥ sarvalohānāṃ malaṃ hanti na saṃśayaḥ //
together with the roots of *naktamāla*, *iṅgudī*, and *śakravāruṇī*,
ground in buffalo buttermilk and kept for seven nights:
quenching in this destroys the impurities of all metals, no doubt.
