rasībhavanti lohāni mṛtāni suravandite
haranti rogān sakalān rasayuktāni kiṃ punaḥ
śīlanānnāśayantyeva valīpalitarugjarāḥ //
Calcined metals become like mercury, O worshiped by the gods; / they remove all diseases; how much more so when combined with mercury! / By continuous use they certainly destroy wrinkles, gray hair, disease, and old age.
