yathāṇur agnis tṛṇa-go-mayādyaiḥ saṃdhukṣyamāṇo bhavati krameṇa |
mahān sthiraḥ sarva-pacas tathaiva śuddhasya peyādibhir antarāgniḥ || 30 ||
Just as a tiny fire, fanned gradually with grass, cow dung, and the like, / becomes great, steady, and capable of digesting everything, even so does the internal fire of a purified person by means of thin gruel and the rest.
