ayam eva vidhiḥ kāryaḥ śiśire 'pi viśeṣataḥ |
tadā hi śītam adhikaṃ raukṣyaṃ cādāna-kāla-jam || 17 ||
This very regimen should be followed in early winter as well, and even more so; / for then the cold is greater, as is the dryness born of the period of extraction.
