vidyāt kūpa-taḍāgādīn jāṅgalānūpa-śailataḥ |
nāmbu peyam a-śaktyā vā sv-alpam alpāgni-gulmibhiḥ || 13 ||

One should recognize wells, ponds, and so on according to arid, marshy, or mountain regions.
Water is not to be drunk, or only very little if unable [to abstain], by those with weak digestive fire and gulma, || 13
