tad-vad vāta-kaphau śītaṃ dāhādir dus-taras tayoḥ |
śītādau tatra pittena kaphe syandita-śoṣite || 36 ||
Likewise, wind and phlegm produce cold; the burning-first variety of the two is difficult to overcome, / whereas in the cold-first variety, when phlegm has been liquefied and dried up there by bile, || 36
