saha-janmottarotthāna-bhedād dve-dhā samāsataḥ |
śuṣka-srāvi-vibhedāc ca gudaḥ sthūlāntra-saṃśrayaḥ || 3 ||

They are of two kinds in brief, by the distinction of innate and subsequent origin, / and by the distinction of dry and discharging. The rectum rests upon the large intestine;
