bāhyā saṃvaraṇī tasyā gudauṣṭho bahir aṅgule |
yavādhy-ardhaḥ pramāṇena romāṇy atra tataḥ param || 5 ||

and the closing fold (saṃvaraṇī) is outer. The lip of the rectum is outside it by one finger-breadth, / having one and a half barleycorns in size; beyond that are hairs.
