so 'tīsāro 'ti-saraṇād āśu-kārī sva-bhāvataḥ |
sāmaṃ sānnam a-jīrṇe 'nne jīrṇe pakvaṃ tu naiva vā || 17 ||

That [condition] is diarrhoea (atīsāra) due to excessive passage, fast-acting by its very nature. / [It produces stools that are] unripe with food when the food is undigested, or when it is digested, ripe or not at all; // 17
