eka-doṣānugaṃ sādhyaṃ navaṃ yāpyaṃ dvi-doṣa-jam |
tri-doṣa-jaṃ tyajet srāvi stabdham arbuda-kāri ca || 17 ||
That which is accompanied by a single humour is curable; when fresh and arising from two humours, it is manageable; / that arising from three humours, discharging, rigid, and producing tumors, one should abandon.
