daśāhe syād atīte 'pi jvaropadrava-vṛddhi-kṛt |
laṅghanādi-kramaṃ tatra kuryād ā-kapha-saṃkṣayāt || 83 ||

Even if ten days have passed, [ghee] would cause an increase in the complications of fever [if phlegm persists]; / one should employ the regimen of lightening therapy and so forth there until the destruction of phlegm.
