pattūro dīpanas tiktaḥ plīhārśaḥ-kapha-vāta-jit |
kṛmi-kāsa-kaphotkledān kāsamardo jayet saraḥ || 100 ||
Pattūra stimulates digestion, is bitter, and conquers spleen [disorder], haemorrhoids, phlegm, and wind. / Kāsamarda is laxative, and overcomes worms, cough, and excess excitation of phlegm.
