sūtra-sthānam ime 'dhyāyās triṃśac chārīram ucyate |
garbhāvakrānti-tad-vyāpad-aṅga-marma-vibhāgikam || 39 ||

These thirty chapters are the Sūtrasthāna. The Śārīrasthāna is spoken of
as dealing with the descent of the embryo, its abnormalities, the divisions of bodily parts and vital spots. || 39
