etat palaṃ jarjaritaṃ vipakvaṃ jale pibed doṣa-viśodhanāya |
jīrṇe rasair dhanva-mṛga-dvi-jānāṃ purāṇa-śāly-odanam ādadīta || 29 ||

This crushed pala, thoroughly cooked in water, one should drink for cleansing the humours. / When it is digested, one should take cooked old śāli rice with the meat juices of arid-land deer and birds.
