kṣveḍo 'ti-kaṭu-tīkṣṇoṣṇaḥ pragāḍheṣu praśasyate |
kuṣṭha-pāṇḍv-āmaya-plīha-śopha-gulma-garādiṣu || 41 ||
Kṣveḍa is excessively pungent, sharp, and hot, and is commended in severe [affections]— / in skin diseases, anaemia, splenic enlargement, swelling, abdominal swelling, artificial poison, and the like. || 41
