tāmbūlaṃ kṣata-pittāsra-rūkṣotkupita-cakṣuṣām |
viṣa-mūrchā-madārtānām a-pathyaṃ śoṣiṇām api || 7 ||
Betel is unwholesome for those with chest wounds, bleeding disorders, dry or inflamed eyes,
those afflicted with poison, fainting, or intoxication, and also for those suffering from consumption. || 7
