Not even a single measure here is devoid of traditional authority. / The contents and the arrangement of the text are the same; the order is otherwise for the sake of conciseness.
One should know a woman with relaxed eyes and abdomen, desiring a man, to be in her fertile period.
In the Bharaṇīs after five days; but in the Kṛttikās after seven days.
One should not drink medicine, for that would indeed produce even more āma.
In the case of fruits, [it should be given in] milk gruel. / In the case of hairy ones, in the cream of milk. / In the case of hairless ones, in curds or curd whey. / In the case of greenish-pale ones, in milk or sour curds. / One should drink the dry powder of ripe, dried jīmūtaka fruits combined with its decoction with milk in vātapitta.
And [it should be worn] on the neck and at the head of the boy together with the mother. / Likewise the Āryāparṇaśabarī and the Āryāparājitā inscribed with gorocanā.
