śuklamālyāmbaradharā ca nārī puṣyoddhṛtāyā lakṣmaṇāyā mūlakalkamudumbaramātraṃ payasā pibet putrasyotpādanāya sthitaye ca |
Wearing a white garland and garments, the woman should drink with milk the root-paste of lakṣmaṇā, gathered under Puṣya, in the quantity of an udumbara fruit, for the production and stabilization of a son.
