1.59

kalpaśca siddhabastīnāṃ siddhirbastyanuvāsayoḥ |

dravyakalpo 'ṣṭamaḥ sthānamata uttaramuttaram ||

abhayāpippalīmūlaśamyākakaṭukāghanam ||

sadā ca yuñjyādabhyaṅgānkarṇapālīgadoditān ||

And the recipes of successful enemas, the successful application of evacuating and unctuous enemas, / and eighth, the preparation of substances; following this is the highest Uttarasthāna: / Abhayā, pippalī root, śamyāka, kaṭukā, and mustā. / And one should constantly apply the ointments prescribed for diseases of the earlobe.
